The schedule includes 21 primary work items and several optional modifications, covering tasks such as hull coating, underwater inspections, propulsion system maintenance, generator overhaul, and various equipment installations and repairs.

The associated federal contract opportunity is a Small Business set-aside solicitation (No. 140G0225R0017) issued by the U.S. Department of the Interior's U.S. Geological Survey, seeking a vendor to perform the vessel maintenance. The NAICS code is 336611 with a size standard of 1,300 employees, and the award will be made to the vendor presenting the most advantageous proposal using Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12 and Part 13 guidelines. Interested vendors must submit questions and proposals via email to the Contracting Officer, Mary (Beth) Wilson.
