About this file

This document is a Schedule of Pricing for Maintenance and Repair of Research Vessel Kiyi, detailing a comprehensive set of work items for a vessel haulout and refurbishment. The solicitation, issued by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), is a small business set-aside contract (NAICS Code 336611) with a size standard of 1,300 employees, seeking a vendor to perform extensive marine maintenance services.

The detailed schedule includes over 30 specific work items ranging from hauling and launching to specialized inspections and optional modifications, such as underwater hull coating, propeller refurbishment, generator overhaul, equipment installations (like Starlink antenna, emergency steering), and various system inspections and repairs. The pricing document provides a structured breakdown of labor rates, including shipyard labor, crane/forklift rates, and markup percentages for materials and subcontractors. Interested vendors must submit proposals via email to the Contracting Officer, Mary (Beth) Wilson, following Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12 and Part 13 guidelines for commercial item acquisition.
