About this file

This is a Price Schedule for turf treatment services at Culpeper National Cemetery covering a base year and four option years (April 2026 through April 2031). The contract requires eight monthly or seasonal job tasks per year, each priced as a single line item. The services include: (1) April application combining post-emergent broadleaf weed control and pre-emergent grass weed control; (2) May application of pre/post-emergent weed control with 26-0-12 NPK fertilizer at 4 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft.; (3) June application for crabgrass, sedge, and broadleaf weed control; (4) July granular grub larvae control; (5) August post-emergent weed control; (6) September core aeration to 4-inch depth, overseeding with Turf Type Tall Fescue at 8-10 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft., and fertilization; (7) October broadleaf weed control; and (8) November granular fertilization at 5 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. All fertilizer applications must use a minimum 50% slow-release sulfur-coated urea formulation.

The price schedule provides blank line items for unit costs and total costs for each of the eight CLINs across the base year and four option years, with a grand total for each contract period. Contractors are required to propose pricing for all 32 line items (8 tasks × 4 option years) plus the base year, with all work to be performed at the cemetery's turf acreage in Culpeper, Virginia. The solicitation is issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs National Cemetery Administration (Solicitation Number: QSE--36C78626Q50075).
