About this file

This document is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item - the Copley Inhaler Testing Kit. The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), on behalf of the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS), intends to award a firm fixed-price contract without full and open competition to TSI Incorporated as the sole source provider for this specialized testing kit. The kit includes various components such as pumps, flow meters, impactors, and adapters required for comprehensive inhaler testing and analysis. The Government seeks to procure this equipment to support its research collaborations and formulation development efforts. Responses are due by July 15, 2024, and the anticipated delivery timeframe is 8-14 weeks after contract award. The evaluation will be based on technical capability, price, and past performance.
