| Block9: The Ready Relevant Learning (RRL) initiative delivers training at the right time, in the right place and in the right format for today’s Sailors. This requires a review of current accession training paths and input from Subject Matter Experts to collect data and develop improved access to training in a Sailor’s career progression. The data collected also looks at the location of training (i.e., schoolhouses, ships or fleet concentration sites), allowing each Sailor’s command the flexibility to assign training as needed, therefore reducing readiness normally lost when sending a Sailor off ship to attend training. Lastly, RRL identifies recommendations for delivering the right type of training for Sailors, in a format that fits Learning Center classroom delivery methods, as well as allowing for portable shipboard training and flexible training for Fleet Concentration Centers. The FY22 Content Conversion (FY22 CC) contract will be the fourth content conversion-focused effort for the Sailor 2025 (S2025) RRL initiative. The purpose of FY22 CC is to take the existing schoolhouse curriculum and modernize the methods in which it is administered. The FY22 CC contract includes the following Navy enlisted ratings: Fire Controlman (AEGIS) (FCA), Gunner’s Mate (GM), Fire Controlman (FC), Interior Communications Electrician (IC), Machinist’s Mate Auxiliary (MMA), Torpedoman’s Mate (TM), Construction Mechanic (CM), Aviation Ordnanceman (AO) and Aviation Support Equipmentman (AS). |
