About this file
This document outlines requirements for obtaining waste manifests and disposing of waste from a federal construction project. A contractor must characterize waste through sampling and testing, complete a waste profile sheet with project and transporter details, and obtain landfill-approved manifests from the hazardous waste program manager. Manifests must accompany each truckload and be filled out with waste information, dates, and signatures from the generator, transporter and receiving facility. The related federal opportunity is a design-build solicitation for renovating a controlled area at Joint Base San Antonio Lackland, with a magnitude between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The project is restricted to women-owned small businesses and enforces construction wage rates. Offerors must complete proposal packages as specified in the solicitation instructions.
