About this file
This document outlines COVID-19 safety protocols for contractors working at Department of Veterans Affairs facilities. Contractors must provide proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test taken within three days of entry. Acceptable proof includes CDC vaccination cards or medical records. Contractors are also subject to daily screening, including temperature checks and questions from the COVID-19 screening tool, and may be denied entry for failing screening. Contractors working off-site but having direct patient contact must self-screen daily using the screening tool. Contractors must notify their contracting officer representative if contract performance is impacted by denied entry due to screening. The related federal contract opportunity is for infrastructure upgrades and renovations at the Tomah VA Medical Center in Wisconsin. Work includes electrical, HVAC, communication, and security systems upgrades across campus buildings and roads.
