1 – DRAWING ALTERATIONS

1.01 GENERAL

A. The following drawing amendment modifications are listed by drawing sheet number to modify the bid set dated 5/23/2014. This also includes Site Development drawings (C- Sheets) package with various sheet dates.

B. Modify the drawings and specifications with the following items. All other items remain unchanged.

SITE DEVELOPMENT PACKAGE

1.02 SHEET C201

A. Add demolition of both power and telecom service from power pole next to existing shop into existing warehouse to this sheet. These telecom and power service are shown on sheet C401 on right side of existing warehouse. See note on sheet C402 below.

1.03 SHEET C401

A. General Note 4: Add to note: Buried Electrical conduits depths minimum are shown on sheet E8.5

Details 3&4/E8.5.

B. General note 2: modify to require that electrical and other utilities have a 1 foot horizontal and vertical separation per National Electric Safety code. Delete requirement to have electrical utilities 18” above other utilities.

C. General notes: Add note 5. For underground electrical equipment and conduit routing and details and

1.04 SHEET C402

A. Existing Warehouse right side existing power and telecom underground lines shown: Add Hex E symbol next to electrical (E) & (T) symbols to indicate that the existing power and telecommunications services are to be disconnected and removed from power pole on upper right of warehouse to electrical service entrance in lower left of existing warehouse.

1.05 SHEET C402.1

A. Site Lighting Schedule: Catalog numbers for site lights are CREE brand.

D. Site Lighting Schedule: All site light fixtures in schedule except 2FP (Flag pole Light) are 208Volts.

Fixture 2FP is 120VAC with remote LED driver modules locate in office IT room 126 on wall. See attached LED site lighting fixture cut sheet for general configurations.

E. Note 6: Change 1” PVC Sched 80” to read “1” minimum PVC Sched 80” Contractor to size conduit to fill required for all conductors in each run.

1.06 SHEET C402.2

A. Sheet note upper right. Change “Mechanical Panel” to read “Mechanical Panel M1 located in room 129”

B. Home run for lighting circuit CKT#1. Add the following circuit CKT#1 to panel LP1- 15, 17, 208VAC thru lighting control relays located in room 126. Provide HOA bypass switch for this circuit as shown on sheet E2.1

C. Use trench detail 4/E8.5 for all site lighting buried conduit shown on sheet C402.2 Conduit Burial depth shall be minimum 24”.

D. D. Flag pole lighting circuit. Connect flag pole lighting circuit shown on this sheet thru lighting contactors in IT room 126 to panel LP1-21, 120VAC. Two LED drivers are required for flag pole LED lights. These are mounted on wall next to lighting contactors in room 126.

1.07 SHEET C402.3

A. Delete ¾” conduit and 2” conduit shown between office and warehouse. Correct conduit size and conductors are shown on sheet E1.1 & E6.1 and amendment notes for additional conduits.

B. Home run for lighting circuit CKT#2. Add the following circuit CKT#2 to panel LP1-23,25, 208VAC thru lighting control relays located in room 126. Provide HOA bypass switch for this circuit as shown on sheet E2.1.

C. Pole mounted receptacles shown for two pole light fixtures on upper right of drawings are run in common conduit with CKT#2 to panel LP-2-41 20A 120VAC circuit breaker.

D. Hazmat Building feeder home run: Home run shown for hazmat building connects to vault shown on sheet E1.1 and to feeder circuit breaker MDP-13,15, 60A 2P.

E. 4MB light fixture mounted on right side of office. Connect this fixture to LP1-23,25 on same light control relays as pole lights on CKT#2.

F. Use trench detail 4/E8.5 for all feeder and site lighting buried conduit shown on sheet C402.3 Conduit

Burial depth for secondary power shall be minimum 24”.

1.08 SHEET C403

A. Delete trenching detail shown on this sheet. Use trench detail 4/E8.5 for all site lighting buried conduit shown on sheet C402.2 & C402.3 Conduit Burial depth shall be minimum 24” for secondary conduit, 36” for primary conduits for PUD service.

BUILDING PACKAGE

1.09 SHEET M4.0

A. Detail 1/M4.0 All advanced meters 1-7550 meter and 6-6200 meters shown on this detail 1 and table are

Government furnished property to be installed by contractor.

B. Detail 1/M4.0 Measurement and Verification Schedule: Telecom room NET-1 panel is monitored by solid core CT’s and an ION 6200 Remote display meter not Enercept CT’s as shown in table. Contractor is to furnish solid core CT’s for NET -1 panel per E7.1

C. Detail 1/M4.0 CT’s shown to 7550 and 6200 meters and DWH-1 are diagrammatic and to not show the actual numbers of CT’s needed. See sheet E7.1 for CT sizes and quantities.

D. Detail 1/M4.0 Add outside temperature sensor as an input to Advanced meter panel input. This temperature sensor is shown on sheet E7.1.

1.10 SHEET E1.0

A. Symbol shown on sheet E3.2 detail 2/E3.2 for elevator heat detector is missing. Add this symbol to electrical legend. See notes below for sheet E3.2.

1.11 SHEET E1.1

A. See sheet C402 for electrical demolition work.

B. See sheet C402.2 & C402.3for site lighting details. Conduit runs are shown diagrammatically and are not actual locations.

C. See sheets C402.2, C402.3 for additional conduit stub outs from building for future use connected to panel M1 in room 129.

D. Burial depth for primary service conduits for PUD supplied conductors shown for this sheet from reference to 4/E8.5 detail changed from 24” burial depth to 36” burial depth. All other secondary electrical conduits remain at 24” burial depth unless otherwise noted.

E. Add 1” Sch 80PVC conduit and conductors underground from panel M1 in office to converted warehouse wood shop to power OHP-4 outdoor unit. This is referenced on sheet E3.3 detail2/E3.3, with

3#10&1#12 G conductors.

F. Flag note 1. Change two parking lot lighting circuits from 120VAC, shown as LP1-15,17 to 208VAC panel LP1-15,17 & LP1-23,25 two pole breakers, 20A. These are shown on sheet C402.1 Site Electrical.

G. Add flag note 4: Provide one 20A, 120VAC outlet circuit for light pole mounted receptacles on two south side lighting poles shown on sheet C402.1, & C402.3 Route this circuit thru vault that feeds west parking lot lights. Power this circuit from panel LP-1-Conductor sizes are shown on C402.1

H. Flag Note 2 Add the following: Provide one, 4” junction box, mud ring, blocking and trim on the back side of office mounted approx. 8’ AFF on the second floor. This is the same height at the top of the W4 windows on the second floor. The box shall be located horizontally 46’- 4” from NE corner of the building to mount CREE Edge series light.

1.12 SHEET E2.1

A. Flag note 3: Add the following, Provide two 2 pole lighting control relays 208V from lighting control systems in addition to HOA switches required for control from distributed lighting control system for parking lot pole lights and one wall mounted security light on south side of building.

B. Add Flag note 4: Add the following. Provide a single pole relay from lighting control panel output for flag pole lighting.

1.13 SHEET E2.2

A. Show wall mounted security light on wall for area lighting. This is shown on sheet E1.1 on south wall to circuit LP1-19.

B. See sheet E1.1 for wall mounted area site light.

1.14 SHEET E3.1

A. Detail 1/E3.1 elevator pit: Add sump pump PMP-5 to elevator pit. This pump is shown on sheet M0.2 and M2.1 Pump is powered from outlet in elevator pit.

B. Detail 1/E3.1 Change OHP-7 disconnect switched from non fused to fused.

C. Detail 1/E3.1 Add two conduits, one for parking lot lighting to lighting controls and one for hazmat building power coming from service MDP panel shown on sheet E1.1 coming. See E1.1 for conduit sizes.

D. Detail 1/E3.1 Add one 1” Sch80 PVC conduit for OHP-4 power coming from panel M1-39,41 to converted warehouse woodshop. Place conduit in same trench as telecom conduit between these two buildings.

E. Detail 1/E3.1 Service transformer and pad are provided by PUD and shall be located a minimum of ten feet from office building.

F. Detail 1/E3.1 Add 4/0 Uffer ground in common trench between office panel MDP and telecommunications ground bus in converted warehouse woodshop TMGB ground bus shown on sheet

4/E8.7. This ground is shown on sheet E1.1 between the two buildings.

G. Detail 1/E3.1 Add Flag note 8 that elevator sump pump PMP-5 is located in elevator pit and is plugged into outlet. Also add note that a sump hi alarm float is connected to DDC system for monitoring sump level.

H. Detail 1/E3.1 ERV-1 is not powered. SF-1 and EF-1 fans supply air to this device. Remove this circuit

M1-49, 51.

I. Detail 1/E3.1 Provide a 4” concrete curb above concrete floor level under main switchgear panel MDB and standby panel SDP and manual transfer switch. Pad shall extend in front of these panels for two inches.

1.15 SHEET E3.2

A. Detail 2/E3.2. Symbol shown as circle with darkened X inside is heat detectors for elevator smoke / fire alarm. Add this symbol to legend sheet E1.0.

B. Detail 1/E3.2 Flag note 2. Add requirement for window motor electric operators to be controlled by

DDC system, Spec 230993 1.3G describes operation.

1.16 SHEET E3.3

A. Detail 2/E3.3 Add TMGB ground bus next to wall mount rack. Connect this to building electrical ground system with a #1 CU as shown in detail 4/E8.4. Also connect underground 4/0 Uffer ground conductor to this TMGB bus bar.

B. Detail 2/E3.3 Add 4/0 Uffer ground in common trench between office panel MDP and telecommunications ground bus in converted warehouse woodshop TMGB ground bus shown on sheet

4/E8.7. This ground is shown on sheet E1.1 between the two buildings.

C. Detail 2/E3.3 Add the following conduits between the office and the Wood Shop. These come out of the north side of the building See sheet E1.1 for continuation.

a. 4” conduit for telecom 25pr OSP cable and Fiber optic cable.

b. 1” conduit for fire alarm flow switch from existing fire sprinkler flow switch to main office fire alarm panel.

c. 1” conduit for OHP-4 power panel powered from panel M1-39-41.

D. Detail 2/E3.3 Add flag note 3. Outlet by new wall mount rack is a new outlet to power equipment rack and circuit to exiting building power panel. Existing power panel is located next to front door.

E. Woodshop Panel A & B: See attached existing panel directories.

1.17 SHEET E4.1

A. Detail 1/E4.1 Add to flag note 1. For both conference rooms 109 & 110, provide a 1-1/2” emt conduit from a flush wall mount junction box 6”x6” to a ceiling mounted junction box 6”x6” for future AV cables from a laptop computer in each conference room to future project ceiling mounted. Cables from wall mount 6”x6” junction box to ceiling mounted 6”x6” junction box will be installed in future. No provisions to mount a projector from ceiling are required.

a. Mount wall junction box for room 109 on west wall opposite of projection wall

b. Mount wall junction box for room 110 in SW corner of this room.

B. Detail 1/E4.1 Room 109 conference room. Move ceiling junction box for projector to west wall to allow projector to be on opposite side of projection wall which is east wall in conference room.

C. Detail 1/E4.1 Room 110 conference room. Move ceiling junction box for projector to the north wall to allow projector to be on opposite side of projection wall which is the south wall in conference room 110.

D. Detail 1/E4.1 Add 4/0 bare CU conductor for Uffer ground from Electrical room 119 TMGB to converted wood shop TMGB by equipment rack on north end of building. This conductor is routed in common trench with other conduits.

1.18 SHEET E5.1

A. Detail 1/E5.1 Rooms 122 & 123. Reverse access control devices to place card reader in room 122 and

REX sensor for common door in in room 123. Intent is to have access to room 123 from 122 by use of badge card.

B. Detail 1/E5.1 Provide a 6” alarm bell for the duress alarm located in open office 123 on wall next to room 116, +7’ AFF. Provide a maintained push to alarm duress switch with dual contacts to security panel and to power duress alarm bell. Duress alarm switch is pulled out to reset.

1.19 SHEET E6.1

A. Detail 1/E6.1 Boiler B-1 boost transformer voltage Boiler is 240V single phase. A boost transformer will be provided to increase system voltage from 208V to 240VAC. Change 208V: 204V to read

208V:240V. Size boost transformer to handle all equipment served by this circuit +15% spare capacity.

B. Detail 1/E6.1 Change outlet for DDC control power from M1-46 to panel Net1-55.

C. Detail 1/E6.1 Change outlet for computer next to DDC panel from M1-48 to panel Net1-57.

D. Detail 1/E6.1 Change power circuit for two BTU meters from panel M1-44 to panel Net1-53.

E. Detail 1/E6.1 Add phone dialer mounted to wall to the right of the EPO panel. Provide a dual data jack to rack mounted patch panel for external phone connection.

F. Detail 1/E6.1 Provide a 120VAC duplex 5-20R receptacle next to phone dialer for power. Connect this outlet to same circuit as EPO panel SDP-7.

G. Detail 1/E6.1 Add one 1” Sch80 PVC conduit for OHP-4 power coming from panel M1-39,41 to converted warehouse woodshop. Place conduit in same trench as telecom conduit between these two buildings.

H. Detail 2/E6.1 Add 4/0 Uffer CU bare ground in common trench between office panel MDP –external

TMGB next to this panel and telecommunications ground bus in converted warehouse woodshop TMGB ground bus shown on sheet 4/E8.7. This ground is shown on sheet E1.1 between the two buildings.

I. Detail 2/E6.1 Electrical room 119 outside wall shows a temperature switch symbol. Change this to read:

Temperature transducer 4-20mA, 2 wire transmitter. Provide 2C#16 STP cable to advanced meter panel in ½” EMT. Mount temperature transducer +8’AFF. Provide wall mounted bracket to mount sensor.

Min 1” conduit is required.

J. Detail 2/E6.1 Add to description of Ufer ground: from #4/0 to power ground in power trench to #4/0 to power ground in power trench, continue to radio antenna ground system, see E4.1 for details.

K. Detail 2/E6.1 Radio racks R-5 & R-6 are shown with 36” clearances to power panel NET-1. This 36” clearance needs to be from back of equipment mounted in racks to NET-1 panel. Racks may need to be moved left to provide this clearance.

L. Detail 2/E6.1 Add 4” Sch 80 PVC conduit for future data use next to 4” conduit shown on north wall of room 126 going outside building to pull vault. This is shown on sheet E1.1.

M. Detail 2/E6.1 Room 126 north wall shows 4” to parking lot lighting. Change this to show 2 sets of 2”

Sch 80 PVC conduits, one set to east parking lot lighting pull vault and the other set of 2 conduits to the west parking lot lighting pull vault.

N. Detail 2/E6.1 Provide lighting control relay panel for the parking lot lighting and flag pole lighting on east wall or room 126. See notes above on sheet E1.1 about the two 2P circuit needed for parking lot lighting. Provide connections as required for system network connections with other controllers. Power for this panel from LP1.

O. Detail 2/E6.1 Provide conductors in conduit to south ware yard light poles that are shown on sheet

C402.3 to two pole mounted Nema 5-20R receptacles in same conduit that feeds two ware yard pole lights. Feed this receptacle circuit from panel LP1-41- 20A 120VAC circuit.

P. Detail 2/E6.1 Add wall mounted low voltage step-down transformer for flag pole lighting in NE corner of room 126. Connect input of these transformers 120VAC to lighting relay control panel and home run to circuit in panel LP-1-21. Run low voltage flag pole lighting conductors from lighting relay panel to flagpole location shown on sheet E1.1. See attached flag pole lighting diagrams.

1.20 SHEET E6.2

A. West Wall Elevation: Add a wall mounted telephone dialer to right of EPO panel and a duplex 120VAC outlet for power. (See notes below for dialer specification.)

B. East Wall Elevation: Add lighting control panel for relays for parking lot lighting. Provide circuit for control power from NET-1.

1.21 SHEET E7.1

A. Detail 1/E7.1 Extend #4/0 system ground conductor shown to ground rods and Ufer ground at radio tower to the water service entrance in room 108 sprinkler room and bond to water piping and around water meter.

B. Detail 1/E7.1 CT’s shown that feed UPS feeder and panel M1 feeder are located inside of panel SDP in electric room 119. These CT’s are directly connected to the advanced meter panel CT’ inputs in the advanced energy meter in room 126. Symbol shown above UPS [AEMP] is not a physical piece of equipment, but shows the two sub feeder CT’s connections to the advanced meter panel diagrammatically.

C. Mechanical & Plumbing Connection Load schedule: ERV-1 is not powered, remove this device.

D. Mechanical & Plumbing Connection Load schedule: Add elevator sump pump to this schedule, 115VAC, ½ hp, and circuit M1-60.

E. Mechanical & Plumbing Connection Load schedule: Add ERV-2 to this schedule, 208V 1 ph, 260W.

This is shown on sheet M0.3 ERV schedule.

F. Detail 1/E7.1 Advanced energy meter shown above panel MDP also has the temperature sensor and

BTU meters as shown in lower right detail 2/E7.1 connected to this panel with 2C #16 TSP cable. The intent is to have both details for the advanced meter in details 1 & 2 to show the same inputs.

G. Detail 2/E7.1: Add a ½” EMT conduit and a 2#16 TSP cable from a digital output in the advanced energy meter to an input in the DDC control system in the mechanical room 129 to monitor total building electrical energy with a pulse output. This pulse KW output will be used by the DC system for demand load limiting. Also add this to the DDC inputs in mechanical specs 230900.

1.22 SHEET E7.2

A. MDP Panel: Add a 20A breaker for elevator sump pump and wiring for a dedicated outlet in elevator pit and disconnect.

B. LP-1 Panel: Change circuits 15, 17 to a 2 P-20A breaker from two single pole 20A breakers and re-lable to Ltg-Parking W, Parking lot lights are 208V.

C. LP1-Panel: Add a 2P -20A breaker on circuits 23, 25 for East parking lot lights, label Ltg-Parking E.

Parking lot lights are 208V.
