About this file
This is Addendum No. 05 to ITB No. 00002676 for Elevator Modernization Services issued by the City of Portland, Oregon's Procurement Services division. The addendum provides clarifications to the plumbing scope of work across five municipal facilities and modifies the technical specifications for sump pump and associated plumbing installations. Responses are due January 23, 2026, by 4:00 pm. The scope changes affect the 1900 Building, Portland Communication Center (PCC) Building, North Precinct Building, East Precinct, and St. John's Building, with two new exhibits (D-3 North Precinct Sump Piping and E-4 Portland Communication Center Sump Piping) added to clarify plumbing locations and requirements.
The addendum removes all sump, sump pump, and associated plumbing and electrical work from the 1900 Building, East Precinct, and St. John's Building. For the PCC Building, the scope requires installation of one new sump, one new sump pump, and associated plumbing and electrical support, with elevator pit sump piping tied at a location specified in Exhibit E-4, along with restoration of finishes and a mandatory 4-inch cleanout to meet code requirements. For the North Precinct Building, the scope requires one new sump pump and associated plumbing and electrical, with elevator pit sump piping tied at a location specified in Exhibit D-3, also requiring finish restoration and a 4-inch cleanout. Any insufficient cleanout sizes require contractor coordination with the owner and submission of cost changes via contract change order. Questions should be directed to Kristina Kolata, Senior Procurement Specialist, at 971-509-0713.
