About this file
This is a Subsurface Utility Excavation Vacuum Test Hole Report prepared for Pinellas County, Florida, documenting utility location investigations conducted at the Cross Bayou Athletic Association Complex site located at the corner of 102nd Avenue and 98th Street N in Seminole, Florida. The report documents nine test holes excavated on June 21 and June 24, 2024, under Project Identification Number GIA2203.01. Utilities identified at the site include multiple water lines owned by Pinellas County ranging from 1 inch to 8 inches in diameter constructed of PVC and polyethylene materials, as well as 18-inch ductile iron pipe (DIP) non-potable water lines. Two test holes yielded no utilities found (N.U.F.) after vacuum excavation to five feet below existing ground and air lance investigation to ten feet below existing ground. Two additional test holes contained utilities that could not be field verified (N.F.V.) due to adverse field conditions including water and cave-ins. All measurements are referenced to U.S. Survey Feet using the North American Datum of 1983 Adjustment of 2011 (NAD83/2011) and Florida State Plane Coordinate System West Zone projections with the North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD88) as the vertical reference.
The report provides specific geographic coordinates (northing and easting), utility cover depths, and top-of-utility elevations for each test hole location to support the design-build reconstruction project of the Cross Bayou Athletic Association Baseball Park. This utility investigation data is essential baseline information for the professional Design/Build teams selected to provide complete design and construction services for the park reconstruction, ensuring that project planning and execution account for existing subsurface infrastructure and associated constraints.

(5) NO UTILITIES FOUND (N.U.F.): “N.U.F.” INDICATES THAT NO UTILITY WAS LOCATED BY GPR AND AN EXPLORATORY UTILITY INVESTIGATION WAS PERFORMED WITH VACUUM
EXCAVATION TO FIVE FEET BELOW EXISTING GROUND AND BY AIR LANCE TO TEN FEET BELOW EXISTING GROUND UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED.

(6) NOT FIELD VERIFIED (N.F.V.): “N.F.V.” INDICATES THAT A UTILITY SIZE, MATERIAL, TYPE OR COMBINATION THEREOF, WAS UNABLE TO BE VISUALLY VERIFIED DUE TO FIELD
CONDITIONS EXISTING AT THE TIME OF THE UTILITY INVESTIGATION. SUCH FIELD CONDITIONS MAY INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO: SOIL OR SURFACE MATERIAL WHICH REQUIRE
OTHER THAN NON-INVASIVE EXCAVATION TECHNIQUES, EXISTING GROUND WATER, CAVE-INS, MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC (M.O.T.) REQUIRED AREAS, OR OTHER HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS.
(7) UTILITY SIZE AND MATERIAL COMPOSITION WERE COLLECTED BY FIELD OBSERVATION UNDER ADVERSE CONDITIONS AND SHOULD BE CONSIDERED APPROXIMATE.
