About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document related to the Space weather Observations at L1 to Advance Readiness Project (SOLAR) X-Ray Irradiance Sensor (XRIS) acquisition. The document addresses a single question regarding CREME96 modeling requirements specified in Attachment B – SPEC, XRIS-200, subsection 4.4 Instrument Data Availability. The answer clarifies that a detailed CREME96 analysis is not required at the time of proposal submission. Instead, offerors must demonstrate understanding of the requirements and capability to complete the analysis during future design reviews. Acceptable methods of demonstrating this understanding include providing the analytical approach or submitting a preliminary analysis.
