About this file

This document consists of an amendment to a request for proposal and a related federal contract opportunity notice. The amendment updates attachments and provisions related to requirements for a Geostationary Extended Observations Sounder instrument to fly on NASA's GeoXO program satellites. Key details include updating interface documents and assurance requirements, revising subcontract and staffing approach language, and adjusting cost volume exhibits. The federal contract opportunity is for the implementation phase of the GeoXO Sounder instrument and includes tasks to design, develop, integrate, test, evaluate, and support the instrument through launch and operations. The anticipated contract award date is late August 2023 for a cost-plus-award-fee contract to develop one flight model instrument and options for an additional flight model and spare. The period of performance is anticipated to be 15 years of on-orbit operations and storage for each flight model.
