About this file
This federal contract opportunity is a request for proposal for services to extend the service life of the US Coast Guard cutter Polar Star. The Coast Guard intends to award an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract to provide tasks including replacing enclosures and equipment on the cutter, installing new computer and input/output racks, and modifying bridge consoles. The contract would have firm-fixed-price and fixed-price award fee line items as specified in the solicitation. Offerors must be able to handle materials subject to export controls, and the small business size standard is 1,250 employees. Proposals are due by the date listed on federal business opportunities sites, and the contract would have a one-year base period and four one-year options that could extend the work through 2026.
