About this file
This amendment modifies the solicitation for the US Coast Guard POLAR STAR Service Life Extension Project. The Coast Guard intends to award an Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity contract to extend the service life of the Polar Star cutter through a combination of firm-fixed price and fixed price award fee contract line items. Task orders issued against the contract will cover the period between March 15th and March 31st each year, with a planned duration of up to 140 days to complete work on the cutter at the contractor's facility. Offers are due by the response date provided in the solicitation, which seeks proposals from commercial contractors to perform the maintenance and upgrade work required to prepare the Polar Star for future operations.
