What is a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA)?
• A BOA is a written instrument of understanding negotiated between a contractor and the FAA with the purpose of creating a long-term working relationship with contractors that develops familiarity w/ FAA facilities and protocol.
• A BOA is NOT a contract.
• The BOA will contain the following:
Methods for pricing, issuing and delivering future call orders;
Description of services to be provided;
AMS clauses that will apply to future call orders
• A Call Order obligates funding and is a binding contract.
• Majority of Call Orders will be Fixed-Priced. Occasionally, Time & Materials will be use for appropriate requirements, mostly emergencies.
