About this file
This file contains Data Item Descriptions (DIDs) for several deliverables required under the Surface Movement Radar Model 4 (SMR4) contract with the FAA. The DIDs outline the format and content requirements for key documents including the EOSH Program Plan (EPP), Site Engineering Report (SER), Construction Drawings (60%/90%/100%), Acceptance Data Package (ADP), System Installation Constraints Document, Not-to-Exceed Site Implementation Budget/Schedule, and Siting Analysis Report (SAR).
Each DID provides detailed preparation instructions for contractors, with specific requirements for document formatting, content sections, and technical information. Key deliverables include environmental and safety documentation, site-specific engineering plans, construction drawings requiring Professional Engineer stamps, installation constraints and requirements, budgetary estimates, and analysis of SMR4 coverage at each airport location. The documents support the implementation of SMR4 systems that must provide position accuracy within 20 feet RMS error for runway/taxiway areas and 296 feet RMS from runway thresholds out to 1.7 nautical miles. All deliverables are restricted to distribution to FAA organizations and their contractors for use in FAA contracts.
