About this file

This document is Section E - Inspection and Acceptance for a federal contract opportunity related to the Surface Movement Radar Model 4 (SMR4) system. The key details are:

The contractor must comply with the AS9100D quality management standard and maintain a Government-approved Quality System Plan (QSP). The QRO has the authority to verify the contractor's quality system, witness tests, and inspect/accept or reject supplies. The government will perform final inspection and acceptance at the contractor's facility or the installation site, depending on the CLIN. Inspection and acceptance will be documented on an FAA Form 256 or equivalent. The government reserves the right to waive inspection, in which case the contractor must still perform required testing and provide certified test data. The QRO can approve minor deviations or waivers that do not adversely impact the contract requirements.
