About this file
This amendment modifies a solicitation for complex bridge construction and earthwork improvements at Polychrome Area in Alaska. The Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration seeks offers for projects including experience with bridges over 250 feet in nonprefabricated truss, cable stayed, concrete segmental, or arch designs; contracts over $15 million constructing bridges; constructing bridges in constricted areas with limited access; complex bridge erection using temporary towers, suspension cables, incremental launching or gantry cranes; and accelerated bridge construction using prefabricated components. Offerors must demonstrate experience on five projects, with three from the prime contractor, using enclosed forms for bridge and earthwork/foundations experience. The amendment revises experience requirements and is issued to clarify instructions to offerors.
