About this file

This document is an amendment to a solicitation for the rehabilitation of Many Glacier Road and related infrastructure in Glacier National Park, Montana. The amendment provides revisions to traffic accommodation requirements during construction, including partial closures of the road from April through May and from the third week of September through winter shutdown. It also details requirements for maintaining temporary electrical and telephone services during reconstruction of the entrance station, including notification procedures for utility disruptions. Estimated costs for repair of three bridges and road rehabilitation along a 12-mile stretch are between $15-20 million. The solicitation is offered through the Federal Business Opportunities website to support full and open competition on an unrestricted basis.
