The drawings show various locations and lengths of culvert pipe to be removed for both 18” and 24” CMP. The unit measure (each) and quantity (12) for Removal of Pipe Culvert on the bid schedule is confusing. And the number of locations on the plans is more than 12. Please quantify the lineal footage of culvert pipe and their sizes are to be removed.
See the Bid Schedule and Plan Sheet H.1 for culvert removal required under Pay Item 20301‐1900; there are 12 each under Schedule A, and 17 each under Schedule B. Refer to Plan Sheet H.1 for the diameter of culvert pipe to be removed. The length of each culvert pipe to be removed is not provided in all cases.
