HST Truman Elevator Modernization Project
(Solicitation No. 47PM0220R0027)
Addendum to the following: General Requirements (Badging, Submittals, and ProjNet)
1. A Truman Building badge is required for ALL contractor personnel (including, but not limited to, General Contractor personnel, subcontractors, manufacturer representatives, etc.) that need to enter the Truman building to perform work and requirements for the contract. There are a number of forms and letters to be submitted for each badge. Allow
3 weeks for processing and approval of badge applications. Allow additional time to obtain a photograph and to pick the badge up when complete. This requirement supersedes the response regarding building badging and escorting in previous Amendments.
2. All submittals shall be provided electronically via the GSA electronic project management system (i.e., currently ePM and Kahua expected roll out 2021/2022). In addition, paper copies (and electronic submittals) shall be submitted as follows:
a. All design submissions – provide six (6) half size print sets of drawings and six (6) specifications shall be provided and delivered to the government for all design submissions.
b. Construction submission – provide six (6) half size sets of drawings, six (6) specifications and six (6) CD’s (drawings and specification set on each cd rom) in
Autodesk's AutoCAD format and after the final design submission has been accepted. The signature sheet shall be provided with all print sets. All sets shall be delivered to the government for the submission.
c. As-built drawings and specification and Operation & Maintenance manual (O&M) submissions – provide six (6) full size print sets and six (6) half size print sets of the final as-built drawings, six (6) printed specifications, six (6) final shop drawings, ten paper sets of O&Ms and five CD in Autodesk's AutoCAD format.
d. Shop Drawings - provide six (6) full size drawings of all shops drawing submittals required for the project.
e. All product data required for the project can be submitted electronically (i.e., currently ePM and Kahua expected roll out 2021/2022). A new electronic project management system called Kahua is planned to begin in the fall of 2021 and shall be used for the project.
This requirement supersedes the response regarding electronic and paper submittals in previous Amendments.
3. Drawings provided on ProjNet are 100% Design Documents or As-Built Documents.
Some of the work show on the documents may have been modified since the documents were produced or has been equipment added to the space. Contractor to determine conditions of existing space and equipment during the design for this contract.
