About this file
This is a pricing attachment document for a Mobile Aerial Equipment Maintenance and Repair contract (Solicitation No. BPM007037) issued by the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT). The solicitation seeks maintenance and repair services for approximately 40 pieces of mobile aerial equipment statewide, including equipment from manufacturers such as Auto Crane, Altec, JLG, Terex, Elliott, Versa-Lift, Biljax, and Crown. Services will be performed primarily onsite at ADOT facilities with potential offsite work requiring prior approval. The contract term is twelve months with potential extension through July 10th, 2029. The solicitation was posted on August 11, 2025, with proposals due on September 18, 2025. Award will be based on evaluation criteria including vendor responsibility, responsiveness, past contract performance, and compliance with solicitation requirements.
The pricing document establishes a framework for price increase requests during renewal periods, with offerors permitted to request maximum increases of 4%, 8%, 12%, and 16% for the first through fourth renewal periods respectively, calculated against the original contract price rather than compounded. Notably, price increases are not automatic; contractors must provide documentation of need at the time of renewal. The solicitation requires a pricing structure based on discounts from manufacturer price lists and mandates $2,000,000 in commercial general liability insurance coverage. All parts and repairs must include a mandatory 90-day warranty and comply with Original Equipment Manufacturer guidelines. The contract emphasizes minimizing equipment downtime, as many units are designated as emergency response equipment requiring priority maintenance services.
