About this file
This is Addenda No. 02 to a federal solicitation for PIP-II F-37 LCW Pump Room Piping issued by Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (FNAL). The addendum was issued on November 3, 2026, with a proposal due date of November 19, 2026. Solicitation No. 378854_MR contains clarifications addressing seven questions received from bidders regarding project scope and technical requirements.
Key clarifications include: a heat exchanger rigging submittal is attached to the addendum; no Johnson Controls interface with the Metasys System is required; shop fabricated pipe spools may be hydrotested with regular water if fully dried and cleaned afterward; bidders must bid specifications as written and may only substitute flanged joints for field welds or Van Stone Flanges by following RFP substitution procedures and providing deduct pricing; no additional electrical drawings will be issued beyond bid documents; and FNAL will handle PLC programming with contractors responsible only for wiring. All other terms and conditions of the original solicitation remain unchanged. Bidders must acknowledge receipt of this amendment via email to the FFDG Procurement Specialist. Michele Reynolds, PIP-II Procurement Manager, serves as the point of contact at (630) 840-2448 or micheler@fnal.gov.
