ROUND 3 Q&A:
152
Amendment 2 Q&A #18 indicates to reuse existing doors and frames for opening BE-98A and BE-98B. New door frame for opening BE-98B requires a much larger door frame that needs to accommodate louvers, a blank off panel per keynote 3 and intake hood keynote 16 per drawing AS-B1-204 and AS-B1-301 therefore reusing the frame is not possible. Based on elevation drawing AS-B1-301 it appears operable windows are above the door and louver.
Which is correct, glazing above the door and adjacent louver, or intake hood and blank off panel?
Sizes are needed with a door/frame and hardware schedule for accurate pricing.
Note #3 also specifies “Blast Mitigation Components”. Therefore no Glazing in these openings.
No additional Drawings or Schedules are currently available.
153
Also door BE-98A has the incorrect swing to reuse the door or the frame.
Will a door frame and hardware schedule be provided for both openings?
Reversing Door BE-98A gives the new swing (interior door so swing direction doesn’t matter for safety).
No additional Drawings or Schedules are currently available.
154
Ref drawing AS-601- Will hardware set numbers be provided for 6 of the 4th floor door openings that appear in the schedule without hardware set numbers?
