Question and Answer Question:
Per the Amendment 7, are you now requesting backflows to be installed on all water lines that are being pulled off and to be used as trap primers that tie into the floor drains? Do you need leak detection under the water lines as well?
On pages 01-PE101 thru 01-PE108 the keynotes state: Floor drain FD-C to be installed in floor. Tie into existing sanitary system. See 3/P102 for type C floor drain detail. P-102 is a riser diagram and there is no detail 3 on that page. I guess I just want to know you want every domestic water to have a backflow on ALL CRAC units.
Answer:
The details were shown on the Bid set of drawings on sheet P-101. The Type “C” Floor Drain Detail #3 is located on Sheet P-101. On the same sheet, details 4 and 5 shown the requirements for Trap Primers. This drawing was issued in the Adobe PDF file named Omaha EHRM Addendum #5, (Amendment 0007) page 32 of 60.
