The inspection was conducted on December 16, 2025, by James Trudeau of Platinum Fire Protection (PO Box 607, Mead, CO 80542) in accordance with NFPA 25 2011 standards for the inspection, testing, and maintenance of water-based fire protection systems.
The inspection identified five deficiencies requiring corrective action: (1) several control valves including those on backflow preventers lack proper identification signs per NFPA 13.3.2.2; (2) three gauges on the system are due for replacement and not showing normal water supply pressure per NFPA 5.2.4.1; (3) three gauges on systems with low pressure alarms are due for replacement and not displaying proper air and water pressure per NFPA 13.4.4.1.2.4; (4) the inspector's test connection located at the southwest corner of the building is missing an alarm test sign; and (5) a 4-inch butterfly dry valve control at the riser lacks required signage. The inspector certified that all tested equipment was left in operational condition upon completion of the inspection except as noted in the deficiency findings.
