Scheduled Work Stoppage Ft Wayne, IN VAMC Project number: 610A4-19-104 Project name: Renovate Basement, Building 1
There will be a scheduled thirty (30) calendar day work stoppage (at no cost to the VA) between each phase of the three phases. There will be no modifications issued to cover this cost at any time. These two scheduled work stoppages must be included/covered in your original bid. These two scheduled work stoppages will allow for VA departments to vacate the next scheduled phase and to move into the new completed phase.
The two scheduled work stoppages will be treated as if the project has been completed. The contractor will clean the area and perform a pre walk through inspection to annotate deficiencies and make corrections. The VA will perform a walk through to generate a punch list. The contractor will make all corrections to the punch list to the VA’s specifications. The contractor will clean the area in preparation to turn over the phase to the VA. The contractor shall remove all ICRA barriers and tools and equipment from the work site to allow the VA departments to relocate to the new area. The contractor may leave all items on the VA property, but securely contained in a contractor provided and contractor secure container. The thirty (30) calendar day work stoppage will begin when the VA takes possession of that completed phase.
