Bidders must maintain a Contractor Quality Control Program with a full-time Program Administrator possessing a minimum of five years of quality control pavement construction experience and appropriate professional credentials. Contract and insurance requirements include a $10 million Commercial General Liability policy and auto insurance. The project is subject to Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation requirements under 49 CFR Part 26, with liquidated damages set at $2,500 per day for each phase for failure to meet schedule deadlines. In 2025, Bid Package 1 of the Concourse A Apron Reconstruction program was completed which included Taxilane R, Ramp Taxilanes 2N, 2C & 2S, Taxiway S and Gates A19 and A21. Bid Package 2 includes the remainder of the pavement surrounding Concourse A and is broken into (4) construction seasons. Also included is the reconstruction of the Delta Hangar ramp, which is of similar age to the pavement surrounding Concourse A.
