About this file
This document includes a risk assessment and federal contract opportunity. The risk assessment evaluates staffing levels at the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station Main Fire Station, identifying reduced staffing as a risk and controls to mitigate that risk including using additional personnel from other stations and mutual aid agreements. It determines the minimum staffing level of 11 personnel including 2 paramedics is an accepted risk, with the level approved by the AFIMSC Detachment Commander.
The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation for the Fire Protection, Emergency Management and Emergency Medical Services IV contract at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The follow-on acquisition provides these services on a 24/7 basis in accordance with DOD, Air Force, and NFPA standards to ensure continuous fire protection and emergency response. It is a total small business set-aside conducted by the Department of the Air Force Space Command for these services at CCSFS.
