About this file

This is a Signage Bid Package for the Franklin County Pavilion located at 365 S. High Street, Columbus, Ohio, issued by Franklin County. The project involves the design, fabrication, and installation of comprehensive signage throughout the pavilion facility, including room number signs, directional signage, evacuation maps, elevator identity dimensional signage, a digital wayfinding kiosk, campus directory, and overhead building identity signage. The bid package specifies a total of 14 signs to be installed across multiple zones and floor levels. The signage contractor must develop a phased project schedule that prioritizes completion of stairwell signage first, followed by floor-by-floor installation. The contractor is responsible for coordinating sign removal, wall patching, and painting in areas where existing signage is removed. Specific sign locations are withheld from the public bid document for security purposes and will be provided to the awarded bidder following contract award. Bi-weekly on-site meetings with the owner's representative and PLANIT will be required throughout the project duration.

The signage contractor must obtain a Sign Agent Mobile License and provide an iPad to installation crews for real-time project documentation and progress tracking, with daily synchronization of the master Sign Agent document required. The contractor bears full responsibility for final control drawings, engineering, materials selection, and compliance with current state and federal building codes. The contractor must provide temporary signage when removal and installation cannot occur on the same business day and must photograph each installed sign and document completion in Sign Agent before work is considered complete. The owner will provide paint colors and finishes for wall patching work. No pricing information, contract term, or award timeline is specified in this design intent document.
