Assistant Supervisor Assistant Supervisors report to the Supervisors or Deputy Project Manager. Each Assistant Supervisor is responsible for assisting with the management of Contractor performance of all work required as set forth in this performance work statement. Assistant Supervisors may have delegated authority over functional areas should the volume of work warrant it. Assistant Supervisors must be capable of performing all management and coordinating functions as assigned by the On-Site Supervisor, and will, when required, attend periodic ad hoc face-to-face meetings with the COR and Project managers.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Act as a team leader in the work of all Contractor personnel to ensure compliance with standards and operating procedures and the requirements of this contract. The Assistant Supervisor shall confer with the Site Supervisor to address problems related to the personnel employed under this contract and assist in the resolution of all personnel problems.

• Assist in providing on-the-job training in methods and procedures to newly assigned staff, and develop visual aids, as required, to promote operational efficiency.

• Assist in data gathering for various productivity reports, and conduct internal surveys as directed.

• Resolve working level complaints and/or problems and resolve other operational problems within the scope of this contract.

• Ensure that routine maintenance on equipment is performed and participate in system changes to accommodate increased workload and FBI organizational changes.

• Ensure that adequate personnel are available to accomplish required work, and initiate replenishment actions for expendable supplies furnished by the Government.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a team lead or similar position

• High School diploma or GED; Associate degree preferred

• 2+ years’ experience in this specific industry

• Excellent verbal and written communicator with strong technical capacity and ability to accurately complete all documentation.

• Extensive knowledge of customer service best practices with ability to resolve issues while maintaining a professional and calm demeanor.

• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain productivity both independently and collaboratively.

• Capable of multi-tasking and effectively managing programs as a proficient problem solver and teamwork supporter.

• Detail-oriented with great organizational and time management skills with the ability to delegate and assign tasks.

• Ability to coach and mentor other employees.

• Working knowledge of standard technology used in the industry (e.g., POS, program tracking, bookkeeping, word processing).

Bus/Motor Coach Operator – Entry Level The Bus/Motor Coach operator transports personnel according to assigned schedule and locations and may operate radio or similar device to communicate with passengers. Bus/Motor Coach operators shall possess a Class B CDL with passenger and/or air brake endorsement along with any other state or federal requirements.

Responsibilities include, with close supervision, but not limited to:

• Operator will clean and/or service vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories

• Perform all pre and post trip inspections

• Keep records of trips

• Assist with loading and unloading luggage compartments

• Assist disabled passengers into and out of vehicle, secure passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip

• Perform Automotive Fleet Support task as needed

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Answer customer and client inquiries

• Perform additional tasks as required by superiors

• 1+ years prior experience working in related field.

• Proficient with computer technology and Microsoft Office applications

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Attention to detail and the ability to multitask

• Reliable and diligent worker

Deputy Project Manager The Contractor’s Deputy Project Manager shall be on site at Redstone during FBI core hours.

Deputy Project Manager’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Supervising employee outcomes by training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, and counseling employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job contributions; adhering to policies and procedures

• Authority to discipline Contractor personnel employed under this contract.

• Meets operational standards by contributing information to strategic plans and reviews;

implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service; resolving problems;

identifying system improvements.

• Maintains customer service objectives by monitoring daily operations; resolving claims that require manual review or technical support for operations.

• Consistently reviews systems and makes necessary adjustments where needed, including resources/staffing. Researches and resolves escalated calls, review and resolve complex claims that have not been resolved by staff.

• Maintains and improves departmental operations by monitoring system performance;

identifying and resolving operations problems; supervising process improvement and quality assurance programs; installing upgrades.

• In absence of the Project Manager, serves as acting Project Manager.

• 5+ years of experience as a team lead or similar position

• High School diploma or GED; Associate degree preferred

• 5+ years’ experience in this specific industry

Document Specialist - Logistics Responsible for maintaining, updating, and creating new content for the unit’s Standard Operating Procedures.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Understand the goals of the Logistics Programs

• Technical writing and documentation to collect input from the Government leads and other team members

• Planning for efficiency and effectiveness

• In-depth understanding of policies, procedures, and processes

• Provide feedback to leadership

• Make analytical decisions

• Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of services provided and standard operating procedures

• Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience

Equipment Specialist – Entry Level The Heavy Equipment team is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, load-testing, and repair of Heavy Equipment to include forklifts, aerial lifts, pallet jacks, reach-trucks, and other items. Other functions include liaising between vendors and FBI partners, coordinating ‘stand-in’ equipment, and disposition of end of lifecycle items.

Responsibilities include, with close supervision, but not limited to:

• Provide annual preventive maintenance and repairs on all material handling equipment to include, but not limited to, pallet jacks, pallet trucks, electric pallet jacks, forklifts, and ATVs.

• Coordinates, schedules, and notifies the site POC of upcoming visits to complete maintenance, evaluations, and repairs.

• Assist and coordinates with the Property team when applicable

• Proficient with computer technology and Microsoft Office applications

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Attention to detail and the ability to multitask

• Reliable and diligent worker

• Monthly vehicle mileage input into government database

• Bi-Monthly tracking of manufacturer recalls

• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs IAW FBI guidelines and manufacturer recommended schedules

• Input maintenance into government database

• Update spreadsheets

• Liaison with repair facilities

• Input maintenance quotes into government system for payment

• Maintain accurate and complete records, files

• Run reports (milage, expiring tags, disposal)

• Preforms other related duties as assigned

• Proficient with computer technology and Microsoft Office applications

Hazardous Material Specialist The Hazmat Specialist is responsible for ensuring the safe handling, packaging, and delivery of hazardous materials (hazmat) received in the mailroom. The Specialist will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with federal regulations, company policies, and procedures related to the handling of hazmat. Under general supervision, coordinates projects involving hazardous chemical waste and other chemical safety issues. Ensures compliance with all local, state, and federal regulatory agencies and university policies and procedures. Conducts training programs in area of specialty.

Responsibilities include, with limited supervision, but not limited to:

• Package, wrap, and ship materials in accordance with FBI policies and procedures

• Receive and inspect all incoming packages to identify and segregate those containing hazardous materials

• Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and documentation for all hazmat shipments in accordance with federal regulations

• Conduct hazard assessments and determine appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for handling hazardous materials

• Coordinate with other departments and external service providers to ensure timely and safe delivery of hazardous materials

• Maintain inventory of hazmat materials, monitor usage and reorder when necessary

• Develop and maintain procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials, including spill response and emergency procedures

• Provide training and guidance to mailroom staff on proper handling and storage of hazardous materials

• Conduct routine inspections of the mailroom to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to hazardous materials handling

• Maintain all necessary records and documentation in accordance with federal regulations and company policies

• Work with regulatory agencies as needed to maintain compliance with hazardous materials regulations.

• Inspects mail/packages for compliance with environmental health and safety regulations;

advises users of the proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.

• Identifies other chemically contaminated items for sampling, testing, removal, decontamination, and disposal.

• Coordinates the disposal hazardous materials.

• Develops and conducts new employee training programs in the areas of infectious wastes, hazard communication, asbestos, poly-chlorinated biphenyls, and other hazardous substances.

• Advises management on potential hazardous materials and makes recommendations as required.

• Maintains records such as hazardous and non-hazardous waste manifests and associated documents.

• Responds to hazardous materials spills such as oil, acid, and mercury; implements clean-up plan.

• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in hazardous materials handling, shipping, or receiving

• Knowledge of federal regulations related to the handling and transport of hazardous materials

(e.g. OSHA, DOT, EPA)

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential hazards

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and communicate with staff at all levels

• Ability to wear appropriate PPE for extended periods of time

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Knowledge of transport and disposal procedures for safe handling of hazardous chemicals and/or radioactive materials.

• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.

• Knowledge of transport and disposal procedures for safe handling of toxic gases, infectious materials, asbestos, PCBs, and other hazardous substances.

• Skill in performing safety inspections and ensuring compliance with OSHA safety standards.

• Ability to develop, implement, and enforce safety programs and protocols.

• Knowledge of chemical, hazardous waste, industrial hygiene, and/or environmental health standards.

• Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.

• Knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations, protocols, and/or procedures.

• Skill in developing and conducting employee information/orientation sessions.

• Skill in developing safety procedures and protocols.

Project Manager The Contractor’s designated Project Manager shall be on site during FBI core hours. The Project Manager will have the overall responsibility of managing workforce performance and work required within the scope of this contract and shall serve as the principal point of contact for the Contractor with the Government. The Contractor shall designate the Project Manager with responsibility for managing all requirements of this contract. In the absence of the Project Manager the Deputy Project Manager responsible for these matters.

The Project Manager is responsible for attending weekly staff meetings and other periodic meetings as required, to include, but not limited to, weekly joint meetings with the COR and his/her designee to review and plan actions concerning scheduling, priorities, and performance issues. The Project Manager is responsible for visiting staffed locations and future locations on a daily, weekly, and/or monthly basis as directed by the Government to ensure operational needs are being meet and to address any problems on site.

The nature of the work required by this contract is such that it is considered essential for a Project Manager capable of making decisions and acting for the Contractor be on site during core hours. These assignments may be revised with the concurrence of the COR. Regardless of the assignments, the Contractor shall ensure that, on any normal working day an individual with designated authority to manage all requirements of this contract is On-Site and available.
