About this file
This amendment to solicitation 140P2023R0031 provides clarifications and extends the response deadline for a contract to construct the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Visitors Center at Everglades National Park in Florida. The National Park Service seeks to award a firm fixed-price contract for design and construction of the visitor center. The amendment provides an additional round of pre-bid questions by March 28th, extends the response deadline from March 31st to April 7th, and notices that virtual discussions may be held April 18th-19th if deemed necessary. The contracting agency is the National Park Service and the point of contact is the contracting officer.
The amendment aims to promote competition by encouraging vendors to voice all concerns and request extensions through the pre-bid question process. If discussions are held, instructions will be provided. Additional responses to previous pre-bid questions are attached to clarify requirements and alleviate assumptions for proposal preparation. The opportunity remains open to all qualified vendors to design and build the visitor center for Everglades National Park.
