About this file
This document is an amendment to a solicitation for construction services. National Park Service is seeking proposals to construct a new Marjory Stoneman Douglas Visitors Center at Everglades National Park in Everglades City, Florida. The amendment provides clarification on proposal submission requirements, including allowing figure attachments to the schedule narrative without page count limits, and clarification that material substitutions are permitted if described in the technical proposal. It also notifies vendors that if discussions are determined necessary, they will take place virtually March 22-23, 2023 via Microsoft Teams. Proposals are due by December 16, 2022 for consideration under solicitation number 140P2023R0031. The selected contractor will work with National Park Service points of contact Harry Turtschanow, Ben Marnell, and Michael Smith, and contracting officer Anne LaPorta on this project.
