150 Preproposal Meeting
Confirming from the pre‐bid meeting that the general contractor will need the following full time on the site, stand alone personnel, Superintendent, Quality Control, and Project Manager. And that the SSHO can dual hat as either Super or QC.
Amendment 003 changed 01 35 26 Government Safety Requirements as well as 01 45 00.00 10 Quality Control.
That said, a conflict remains between the two specs. To resolve this conflict, we have determined that the superintendent may serve as the Site Safety and Health Officer. The Quality Control Manager shall have no collateral duties.
Section 01 35 26, paragraph 1.5.1.1.1 will be revised to remove the first sentence "The SSHO may also serve as the Quality Control Manager" as well as the reference to "QCM" in the second paragraph.
There are no restrictions on collateral duties for the Project Manager.
151 Spec sections 01 33 0

Section 01 30 00, Administrative, General, and Special Requirements, page header has the incorrect specification number and shows "01 33 00."
Per Amendment 003 specifications, section 01 30 00, Administrative, General, and Special Requirements, is 17 pages long, from page 55‐71.
Section 01 33 00, Submittal Procedures, is 18 pages long , from page 89 ‐ 106.
152 Spec Section 01 33 00
Para 1.23 “Accommodations for Gov’t Rep.” Starts by asking for a 100SF office space, the following paragraph states a 240SF office space. Are you asking for two Government office trailers? Additionally, the 240SF trailer asks for indoor plumbing which for a project of this duration is quite expensive. Is indoor plumbing required? This would also limit the location of the government trailer.
The first paragraph of this section will be deleted. The requirements of subparagraph A ‐ C will apply. Location of trailer is shown on C‐006.
Running water and flushing toilets are required.
153 Section H
Special Contract requirements. Paragraph H.2.d. As there will not be aircraft used in performing the contract, we are confirming that this insurance rider will not be required for the execution of the construction for this project.
This is a standard AGAR Clause. Paragraph D is not applicable as aircraft will not be allowed to be used for this project.
