About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for an Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) solicitation numbered 127EAX26R0006 for road, bridge, and related civil construction projects with the USFS Southwest Region 3. The document addresses four key inquiries from potential offerors regarding contract requirements and expectations.
The Q&A clarifies that contractors are not required to bid both seed projects to be considered for award; bidding on one seed project is sufficient. Additionally, awarded contractors are not obligated to bid on every Future Offerings for Proposals (FOPR) or Task Order Proposals (TOPR), though submitting bids is preferred. When asked about geographic distribution of work, the Government indicated that all work will be performed in Arizona or New Mexico across national forests in both states, with work distributed among multiple locations, making it difficult to predict where the majority of projects will originate. Finally, the Government confirmed this is a brand-new contracting action with no incumbent contractors or recompete elements involved.
