About this file
This is an E-Verify compliance requirement document issued by the Town of Palm Beach, Florida, establishing mandatory employment eligibility verification procedures for contractors and subcontractors responding to the Security Guard Services solicitation for the Town of Palm Beach Marina. The Town requires all proposers to be registered with the E-Verify System (E-Verify.gov) and to electronically verify the employment eligibility of all newly hired workers beginning January 1, 2021. Proposers must ensure that all workers, subcontractors performing contract duties and obligations, and their respective newly hired employees are similarly registered and verified through E-Verify. A non-mandatory pre-proposal conference will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams, with interviews potentially scheduled for June 12, 2026, at 1:00 PM for invited firms. Proposals must be submitted online through Euna, the Town's eProcurement platform. Award will be made to the proposer offering the best value to the Town, and proposers may not withdraw their proposals for one hundred eighty days from the opening date.
Proposers must obtain affidavits from each subcontractor affirming that the subcontractor does not employ, contract with, or subcontract with unauthorized aliens as defined under Florida Statutes Section 448.095(1)(k), and must maintain copies of such affidavits for the duration of the subcontract and any extensions. The Town of Palm Beach reserves the right to terminate the contract if it has a good faith belief that the contractor or subcontractor has knowingly violated Section 448.095, Florida Statutes. Contractors found in violation will be barred from future Town awards for one year from the termination date and will be liable for any additional costs incurred by the Town resulting from contract termination. The document contains signature blocks for company authorization and federal identification information.
