About this file

This amendment to a request for lease proposal modifies the project timeline and submission requirements for a federal office and lab space lease opportunity issued by the General Services Administration. Key details include:

  • The lease term commencement date is projected to be June 2027, with the lease effective upon space completion. Interested offerors must express interest by December 15, 2023 including their proposed building address and authority to offer. Initial offers will reopen with a deadline of January 5, 2024 for conforming submissions if expressions of interest are received.

  • The design process includes a six-day workshop within 10 days of award to revise test fit drawings, with the Lessor submitting 75% design intent drawings within 60 days of the workshop. Construction drawings are then due from the Lessor at 75%, 95% and 100% completion following a review process.

  • The Lessor must submit tenant improvement pricing within 35 days of the final construction drawing review and can expect a notice to proceed within 50 days if pricing conforms to requirements. All construction and tenant improvements must be completed within 340 days of the notice to proceed.
