About this opportunity
The Commonwealth of Kentucky, through its Finance and Administration Cabinet and on behalf of the Cabinet for Health and Family Services Department for Behavioral, Developmental, and Intellectual Disabilities, has issued a Request for Bid (RFB) for temporary employment services at the Kentucky Correctional Psychiatric Center (KCPC). The RFB seeks to establish a Master Agreement to provide temporary employees in various roles including Health Information Manager, Medical Records Specialist, Resource Management Analyst, and Correctional Officer positions. The contract shall be for an initial term of August 20, 2024 through June 30, 2025, with six optional two-year renewal periods. Responses are due by September 11, 2024 at 1:30 PM ET. The Commonwealth has established pay rates for each position and will award the contract to the responsive bidder(s) with the lowest markup percentage over the established rates, as well as consideration for the number of years the vendor has been in business.
The Commonwealth does not have an established budget for this contract but estimates approximately $328 million in combined spend against the current contracts. Reciprocal preference for Kentucky resident bidders will apply. The Commonwealth seeks to award multiple contracts to ensure the needs are met, and vendors will be paid for hours worked, with no responsibility for accrued leave. Detailed invoicing requirements are specified, and the Commonwealth reserves the right to cancel the contract with 30 days' notice. The contract will be awarded based on best value criteria, with the lowest markup percentage receiving the most points.
