About this opportunity

Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners is requesting bids for pressure washing and related cleaning services on an annual contract basis under solicitation BL070-26, with bids due August 20, 2026 at 2:50 p.m. local time and a pre-bid conference scheduled for August 6, 2026 at Innovation Square in Lawrenceville.

The scope spans three service sections that bidders may pursue individually or in combination. Section A covers pressure washing services (cold water, hot water, and soft washing) across administrative buildings, libraries, fire stations, parks and recreation facilities, police precincts, and various other county locations. Section B encompasses clean and seal projects including caulking, joint sealant application, masonry sealing, and incidental painting. Section C addresses sculpture maintenance. Services are provided on an as-needed basis, and the County has estimated quantities for specific line items including square footage measurements for different surface types and quantities for chemical and abrasive materials.

The County will award to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder and reserves the right to split awards or negotiate terms with selected vendors. The initial contract term carries firm pricing; four optional 12-month renewal periods are available at the County's discretion, with vendors permitted to propose percentage increases or decreases for renewal options. Invoices are payable within 30 days of acceptance.

Successful vendors must carry comprehensive insurance including general liability with $2 million general aggregate minimum, automobile liability with $1 million combined single limits, workers' compensation at Georgia statutory limits, and umbrella coverage based on contract value. Insurers must hold an A.M. Best rating of A-7 or higher and be authorized to do business in Georgia. Bidders must submit three references demonstrating similar experience completed within the past three years and comply with E-Verify employment verification. All bids require a Code of Ethics affidavit and acknowledgment of receipt of all addenda. Questions are due August 7, 2026 to Savannah Anderson, Purchasing Associate II.
