About this opportunity
The Los Angeles County Department of Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk is conducting a Request for Statement of Qualifications (RFSQ) to establish Master Agreements (MA) for as-needed temporary staffing services supporting county-administered elections and the Voting Solutions for All People (VSAP) initiative. The procurement seeks qualified vendors to provide both technical and non-technical staffing resources to enhance election operations and infrastructure. Vendors must submit a comprehensive Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) electronically via email, as specified in Addendum #3 issued on April 15, 2024, which eliminated previous hard copy submission requirements. The solicitation's response deadline is March 2, 2027, with prospective vendors required to carefully review Addendums 1-5 for the most current solicitation details. Evaluation criteria appear to focus on vendor qualifications, technical capabilities, and demonstrated experience in supporting election-related staffing needs, with an emphasis on the ability to provide flexible and rapid personnel support for critical county election processes.
The solicitation documents do not explicitly outline specific set-aside designations or restrictions on responding organizations. There are no mentioned incumbent vendors or specific integration requirements detailed in the available documents. The procurement appears structured as a multiple-award contract, potentially allowing several vendors to be selected for providing temporary staffing services. While specific contract values or budget ranges are not provided, the solicitation suggests a comprehensive approach to securing flexible staffing resources for election operations. The multi-year contract, running from the original posting date of May 30, 2019, to the close date of March 2, 2027, indicates a long-term strategic approach to managing temporary workforce needs for the Los Angeles County election infrastructure.
