About this opportunity

Fayette County, Georgia is requesting proposals for design, procurement, installation, and project management of dispatch console workstations for the county's 911 Communications Center, with proposals due September 9, 2026 and questions due August 25, 2026.

The scope covers twelve mission-critical console positions: eleven in the primary 911 Communications Room (approximately 43 feet by 26 feet 8 inches with raised access flooring) and one in the Supervisor's Office (approximately 15 feet 9 inches by 12 feet without raised access flooring). The awardee must deliver complete removal and disposal of existing furniture, full installation with equipment relocation and technology integration, and coordinate with a concurrent flooring replacement project. Technical requirements include electric sit/stand adjustable work surfaces rated for 20,000 actuation cycles; integrated monitor arrays supporting current configurations of five monitors per station with future capability for dual 42-inch large-format displays; ventilated equipment cabinets with tool-less pull-out trays; dual-zone climate control systems; mandatory 48-inch primary transit corridors; and ADA accessibility compliance. A ten-year comprehensive warranty covering 100 percent of parts, on-site labor, and freight costs is required. The vendor must provide an Engineering Continuity Guarantee ensuring component availability for fifteen years post-installation and demonstrate long-term parts sourcing capability.

Pricing must be itemized and submitted in a separate sealed envelope covering base console systems, installation labor, furniture removal and disposal, technology relocation, project management, performance and payment bonds, and optional features such as glass/acrylic dividers, acoustic controls, and ambient lighting. Technical proposals are evaluated on a 70-point scale: project understanding and spatial approach (20 points), product technical specifications and structural durability (20 points), lifecycle support and warranty (15 points), and technology integration (15 points). Price comprises 30 points. The county reserves the right to invite highest-scoring firms for presentations worth up to twenty additional points. Proposals must include one original signed copy, four bound paper copies, and one flash drive copy, and remain open for acceptance for a minimum of ninety days from opening.
