About this opportunity
The Naval Sea Systems Command seeks to award a single cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to execute maintenance, modernization, and repair services for the USS ROSS (DDG 71) Extended Dry-Docking Selected Restricted Availability (EDSRA) from July 2022 through November 2023. Offerors must have extensive shipyard facilities and a qualified workforce capable of coordinating work across 200+ maintenance items. Proposals are due through the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment system by July 2022 and the award is anticipated then. Evaluation will consider technical eligibility and past performance.
The solicitation is not set aside for small businesses as market research found no two capable of meeting requirements. The NAICS code is 336611 and PSC code is J019. The availability combines class and specific maintenance with modernization and repair of the USS ROSS in dry dock over 16 months. Performance will be at East/Gulf Coast facilities in the United States. Offerors must request restricted attachments containing pricing, milestones and technical data from the identified contracting personnel by the March 2022 proposal deadline.
