About this file

This document contains a pre-proposal information form and questions from potential offerors regarding a federal solicitation for ship maintenance and modernization services. The solicitation seeks proposals for the FY22 USS ROSS (DDG 71) Extended Dry-Docking Selected Restricted Availability, a 16-month availability beginning in July 2022 at East/Gulf Coast locations. Work includes maintenance, modernization, and repairs across multiple ship systems. The Navy does not anticipate setting aside this procurement for small businesses due to its complexity, magnitude, and duration. Offerors must register in SAM and PIEE to receive the solicitation and submit proposals electronically. Requests for restricted attachments require approval from specified Navy personnel. The pre-proposal information form addresses offeror questions on work scope clarification and missing references.
