Added: Oct 13, 2015 3:30 pm
The purpose of the Flight Test, Telemetry, and Termination (FT3) Program is to replace aging Minuteman (MM) III Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) flight test unique equipment (FTUE). The replacement systems/subsystems must meet 30th Space Wing (SW) Range Safety requirements to ensure the future reliability of MMIII ICBM Operational Test Launches (OTL) and developmental flight test programs. The 576th Flight Test Squadron (576 FLTS) and Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC) will operate and maintain the replacement systems/subsystems in order to conduct OTLs. In order to meet this objective, the FT3 Program combines the Instrumentation Wafer Replacement Program (IWRP), Flight Destruct System (FDS), and Launch Support System (LSS) into a single program.
