About this file
This amendment modifies a solicitation for the construction of a climatic chamber building at the Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory in Hanover, New Hampshire. The amendment provides responses to questions from offerors regarding the proprietary SCADA system and its inclusion in pricing. Offerors are directed to drawing M-701 for SCADA system requirements and informed that the existing SCADA is Allen-Bradley R/S software based. Pricing should include the SCADA system as specified, though the amendment does not identify who will supply the proprietary components. The solicitation number is W912WJ20B0008 and is issued by the US Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District New England for construction services at the Department of the Army facility.

RFI'S 0006
1. The release of amendment 5 has garnered one more question. Addendum 05, question 20 indicates we are to provide pricing for the SCADA system. Please confirm who can provide the proprietary SCADA system that is called for in the JA?
RESPONSE: Refer to Drawing M-701 for the SCADA system schematic and requirements. The Mircom and AES IntelliNet systems are also identified in the JA. APPENDIX A - BASIS OF DESIGN SECTION 01 91 00.15 paragraph 9.4.3 Fire Alarm states "Mircom FX-2000 fire alarm control panel using AES IntelliNet Mesh radio 7707.” The existing SCADA is based on Allen- Bradley R/S software.
2. Pursuant to Amendment 5, which was issued yesterday for the above referenced project, we would like to submit the following additional question:
*Reference Amendment 0005, question 20: The question was asked if the SCADA system is to be included in our pricing and the response was to reference Specification 01 22 00, paragraph 1.5a. Paragraph 1.5a in specification section 01 22 00 makes no specific reference to the SCADA system, it only states that pricing is to include all building systems. We assume the SCADA system is to be included in our pricing. The Justification & Approval document was provided for the SCADA system however we do not know who is to supply this proprietary system or what the value of it is. Please provide further information on who is to provide the SCADA system.
RESPONSE: Refer to Drawing M-701 for the SCADA system schematic and requirements.
