About this file
This is a mechanical controls architecture drawing for a Power Generation with Microgrid project at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey, prepared by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York District.
The drawing depicts a schematic system architecture for integrating DDC (Direct Digital Control) systems with existing facility infrastructure. Key components include the existing EMCS (Energy Management Control System), AMRS (Automated Meter Reading System), managed Ethernet switches located in building B678's main electrical room, a manufacturer-provided microgrid controller, electric and gas utility meters, and JACE controllers for network communication via Niagara protocol. The contractor is responsible for providing a complete and functional system compliant with specification sections 25 10 10, including final architectural details, device selection, network bindings, all power wiring and components downstream of existing 120-volt single-phase junction boxes, verification of adequate junction box quantity and location, front-end configuration changes to existing servers and workstations, and final network connections to existing switches unless otherwise directed. The gas meter shall be connected to the electric meter on a separate meter reading system with compatibility as described in Division 26 specifications. The microgrid and battery energy storage systems must be capable of integrating into the network but are not directly governed by all section 25 10 10 requirements. The drawing was initially issued July 2026 and revised for bidder inquiries in September 2026.
