About this file

This document is a Measurement and Payment section (Section 01 22 00) for a GSU Transformer Supply contract for Fort Peck Dam in Montana and Oahe Dam in South Dakota. The contract involves designing, manufacturing, testing, delivering, and installing multiple power transformers at two different dam sites. Specifically, the contract includes:

For Oahe Dam: One 103,000 kVA three-phase GSU power transformer (115 kV high-voltage, 13.8 kV low-voltage) and nine 68,667 kVA single-phase GSU power transformers (230/132.79 kV high-voltage, 13.8 kV low-voltage). For Fort Peck Dam: Two 42,000/56,000 kVA three-phase GSU power transformers (230 kV high-voltage, 13.8 kV low-voltage). The payment structure is detailed and broken down into multiple line items covering design approvals, tank production, winding construction, core construction, assembly, testing, delivery, offloading, site installation, and spare parts. Each major stage of transformer production and delivery has a specific percentage of the total line item value allocated to it, with the final testing and delivery receiving the remaining balance.
