About this file

This document is a Pricing Schedule for a federal contract (OA00106) for transformer supply at Ft Peck and Oahe Dam power plants. The contract covers the design, manufacture, factory testing, delivery, and on-site installation of multiple power transformers, including: 1) a 103,000 kVA, 115 kV three-phase transformer for Oahe Dam, 2) nine 68,667 kVA, 230/132.79 kV single-phase transformers for Oahe Dam, and 3) two 42,000/56,000 kVA, 230 kV three-phase transformers for Fort Peck Dam. The pricing schedule is structured with multiple Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) that break down the transformer procurement process into detailed stages such as design approval, tank production, winding construction, core construction, assembly, and testing.

The document includes a unique Economic Price Adjustment (EPA) mechanism that allows for price modifications based on changes in the costs of specific materials: cold rolled steel, standard plate steel, copper, and transformer oil. The pricing will be indexed using Bureau of Labor Statistics indices for these materials. Each transformer order includes comprehensive services beyond manufacturing, such as transportation, offloading, temporary storage, inspection, cleaning, reassembly, oil filling, field testing, and providing an Erecting Engineer. The contract requires bidders to enter prices for all items, with a warning that submissions without individual item pricing will be rejected, and the government will verify all additions.
