Analyzes Government Task Authorization Request (TAR). Coordinates with test teams if clarification of tasks is required. Determines resources required to accomplish the tasks. Initiates work orders and purchase orders if necessary to accomplish the task. Establishes and monitors suspense's for all internal and external actions required to accomplish the tasking. Provides test planning support: reviews draft test plans and identifies possible problems in test execution; prepares technical commentaries on contractor ability to support tests; participates in test planning meetings with test directorates; assist in the development of data collection training materials and lesson plans; presents training orientation classes; coordinates staffing of field organization prior to execution phase of testing. Ensures expeditious dispatch of jump teams to perform corrective maintenance; ensures coordination of shop level maintenance of critical components. Maintains status of instrumented vehicles and systems. Maintains player and equipment correlation tables. Ensures availability of supply stocks. Coordinates timely installations of communications equipment required to support field tests. Follows established procedures to ensure achievement of quality, safety, and security standards and conservation of Government resources. Performs other duties as required, which may include: accomplishing assigned tasks in closely related fields; participating in formal, on-the-job, and cross training. | |

Responsible for providing test planning, execution and reporting to USAOTC test directorates supporting OT&E. Works as the single POC to the Government Test Officer on TSS test support team activities. Responsible for development of Task implementation plans (TIPs) and the associated cost estimate for each TAR assigned. Manage each TAR’s test costs to ensure each stays within the cost estimate. Supervise test support teams and manages multiple operational tests simultaneously. Coordinate with USAOTC Test Officer with development and input of Government test documentation and slides. Supervise the development of the data collection and data management plan to include development of data collection forms and databases. Support USAOTC in participation of hot washes, Operational Test Readiness Reviews (OTRRs) and After Action Reviews (AARs). Supervise the data collection, data management and reduction of data to ensure data turnover is met during test execution. Provide test support team training. Supervises the turn-in of equipment, coordinates with the LDM on the inspection and maintenance of damaged and dead-lined GFP and check work orders to ensure all work is completed prior to TAR closure. | |
