About this file

This presolicitation notice announces the Army's intent to issue a request for proposal for grenade and grenade fuze products. The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island plans to solicit offers through beta.sam.gov on or around June 1, 2020, with responses due 30 days after issuance. The consolidated requirement will result in multiple-award, firm-fixed price IDIQ contracts for five years with five ordering periods to procure the M201A1, M201A3, M208, M228, and M213 fuzes as well as the XM111 offensive hand grenade, XM112 practice grenade body, and M67 fragmentation grenade. Awards will be made using a best value tradeoff approach, with the Army reserving the right to make a single award if only one offeror is deemed qualified. Technical data packages restricted to distribution D limited access will be provided with the presolicitation at beta.sam.gov for registered U.S./Canada Joint Certification offerors. The Army intends to hold an industry day virtually prior to solicitation release with further details to follow.
